About this Product

The GROVE Cat6 Modular Jacks in white provide a reliable, high-performance termination solution for structured copper cabling installations. Designed to meet Category 6 standards, these jacks are intended for termination by a compact insertion tool (specifically a Krone-type or IDC punch-down tool) only, ensuring low signal loss, robust mechanical stability and easy integration into Australian-style wall faceplates and patch panels.

Each termination module features precision-machined contacts plated in 50 µm (micrometres) of gold for excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The jacks accommodate standard eight-position, eight-conductor (8P8C) RJ45 connectivity and are compatible with both T568A and T568B wiring schemes. The white finish offers a clean aesthetic, suited to commercial, industrial or residential installations where appearance and performance matter.

The product is supplied in a bulk tub of 50 units, enabling cost-efficient deployment in larger installations where numerous outlets or consolidation points are required. Designed for use with solid conductor cable (typically 23 AWG/0.57 mm) up to 4 mm outer diameter, the jacks include a rear-entry IDC (insulation displacement connector) termination area for fast termination with a Krone-style tool.

Suitable for data-rates up to 1 Gbps and beyond (subject to cabling and network equipment) and capable of supporting modern Ethernet standards with low crosstalk and interference. Ideal for new builds, retrofits and high-density environments where professional termination and long-term reliability are required.

Key Features

  • Category 6 rated RJ45 modular jack, supporting high-speed Ethernet and structured cabling systems.
  • 50 µm gold-plated contacts for superior conductivity and protection against corrosion.
  • Rear-entry insulation-displacement (IDC) termination compatible with Krone-type punch-down tools (termination only).
  • White finish, designed to integrate seamlessly into standard Australian Clipsal style C2000 & 2000 wall faceplates or patch panel keystone frames.
  • Bulk packaging (tub of 50 units) for efficient deployment across multiple outlets or installations.
  • Designed for solid conductor cable (typical Category 6, 23 AWG / 0.57 mm) and industry standard wiring schemes (T568A/B).
  • Backwards compatible with Cat5e systems, enabling upgrade paths without replacing patch cords or panels (common for Cat6 jacks)
  • Durable housing and precision internal IDC design minimise untwisting of pairs and maintain signal integrity during termination.
  • Suitable for structured cabling applications in homes, offices, commercial buildings, educational campuses, and data-centres.
